Please enter the title of your workshop. Use title case (e.g., "First International Symposium on Super-Secret Space Simulators") rather than sentence capitalization.
Abstract
Please give a short description of your proposed workshop.  If your workshop is accepted, this content will be used to describe your workshop on the SC web site.  Please indicate paragraph breaks with a blank line, but do not use any other formatting.

You may list up to six workshop organizers on the SC web site. Please enter their name(s), email(s), and affiliation(s) in this section. Workshop Format and Scheduling Information
Carefully consider your proposed workshop program and goals and the duration required to adequately support those. If you select the option "Prefer full-day, could be half-day" your workshop may be accepted as a half-day workshop. Please only select this option if your proposed workshop program and goals can be accomplished in a half-day setting.
Workshop Proposal
Please upload your workshop proposal here. When developing your proposal, please the following in mind:
  • SC strongly recommends that organizers practice inclusivity when organizing their workshop. Proposals should describe inclusivity plans, and those plans will evaluated as part of the proposal review criteria.
  • SC encourages Transparency and Reproducibility, especially in workshops that present peer-reviewed papers.
  • SC requires that the morning, lunch, and afternoon breaks take place at specific times.
Please upload your workshop proposal as a PDF file (maximum 4 pages). The PDF should include:
  • workshop title and organizer names
  • workshop scope (suggested length is 2 pages)
  • workshops goals (e.g., ideation, socialization of early works, building bridges between interdisciplinary communities, professional development, artificats)
  • expected outcome from the workshop
  • relevance and impact to SC attendees
  • workshop format (e.g., talks/panel sessions/featured speakers) and how the format supports the workshop goals
  • workshop schedule
  • inclusivity plan, advertising plan
  • whether proceedings are planned
For workshops that plan to publish in a proceedings, please include the following additional points
  • planned timeline including paper deadlines, notification, etc.
  • list of tentative program committee members
  • reproducibility/transparency plan

SC welcomes first-time workshops!  If your workshop has never been held before, you do not need to enter anything in this section.  But if your workshop has been held before (whether at SC or elsewhere), please tell us about the prior workshops.  If you don't know some of the requested information, leave that part blank.

I understand that if the workshop is selected for SC24, one of the organizers is required to be present in person at SC24. Otherwise the workshop will be canceled.
Important Notes
  • When you submit the form, wait to see if any errors are reported. If errors are not fixed, it will not be counted as submitted.
  • When this submission has been received, a confirmation email will be sent to each organizer entered above. These emails should be kept as receipts. If they do not get this email, it is likely that the submission has not been received. They should verify that they can see it on their "My Submissions" page, and if not, resubmit. It is your responsibility to confirm that the submission has been received.
  • Each organizer entered above can update this submission until submissions close.
